Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Actuary to enhance its
consulting practice in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse range of actuarial projects and collaborate with
senior leaders on complex analyses
Leverage statistical data and innovative modeling to support health
economics and cost of care analytics
Assist in developing less experienced actuaries and build strong
client relationships
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a
related field
FSA/ASA designation required
10+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with knowledge in
value-based care and risk modeling
Experience with healthcare databases and data sources
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with SQL and R;
Python or machine learning is a plus
