The Principal of the Upper School 7-12 is responsible for upholding the school's Christ-centered mission, ensuring academic excellence while overseeing all aspects of the school's culture and programming, including curriculum development, staff management, student discipline, and community relations.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and Christ-centered school culture.
  
• Monitor and evaluate academic programs and student performance to drive continuous improvement.
  
• Support and mentor teachers to enhance instructional quality.
  
• Retain high-quality faculty and staff who align with the school's values.
  
• Provide ongoing professional development opportunities and performance evaluations.
  
• Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the community.
  
• Address student behavioral and academic issues with a focus on Christian virtues and restorative practices.
  
• Implement programs that support students' spiritual, emotional, and academic growth.
  
• Be a visible and accessible presence throughout the school.
  
• Inspire and facilitate effective and clear communication to build upon the collaborative and trusting climate among all constituents.
  
• Engage fully with current and past parents, alumni, and broader Cincinnati community.
  
• Manage the Upper School's budget and financial resources effectively.
  
• Represent the school in the local community and build strong partnerships with churches, organizations, and stakeholders.
  
• Develop and oversee school events and activities that promote community involvement and support.
  
• Lead efforts to evaluate and improve school programs and initiatives.
  
• Collaborate with the Head of School to set long-term goals and assess progress.
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
    
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership or administration, preferably in a Christian or private school setting.
    
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    
  • Proficiency in financial management and strategic planning.
    
  • Ability to foster a positive, Christ-centered educational environment.
    
  • A strong personal commitment to Christ and Christian formation.
    
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with integrity, empathy, and vision.
    
  • Passionate about education and student development.
