At this level, you take ownership and more of a leadership role when it comes to designing a complex part, overseeing testing activities, and / or leading a minor model change project for your department.Key Accountabilities

• Create 3D layouts/data and 2D drawings using CATIA.
• Correlate and negotiate with internal Honda contacts including other design departs, test departs, factories and purchasing.
• Lead part design with suppliers. -Setting design targets and confirming prospect to achieve requirements.
• Collaborate with styling teams to set feasible directions and fix final designs.
• Support and part and vehicle verification, developing countermeasures when necessary.
• Estimate and manage part cost, including review of supplier quotes.
• Lead a small team of associates/contractors as a project leaderQualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering
  • 4 years of relevant design
  • CATIA or other 3D CAD software, self-motivated, organized, multitasker, effective verbal and written communication.Workstyle
