Job Description:
A company is looking for an Azure Kubernetes Engineer for a 12+
month remote contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and administer cloud cluster compute on VMs and Bare-Metal
with OpenShift
Collaborate with development teams to review containerized
applications architecture and ensure compliance
Develop GitOps/CICD pipelines for automating patching, maintenance,
and vulnerability fixes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related
discipline, or equivalent work experience
5-7 years of experience in software development, with a preference
for the securities or financial services industry
5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management
and operations
Experience with Argo CD or Flux, Helm/Kustomize, Prometheus,
Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD automation
Strong knowledge of Linux system internals, storage, and networking
fundamentals
