TEAM The People & Culture Business Partner team is responsible for
providing strategic support to the organization for all people
related matters, ranging from organizational development,
performance management, employee relations, to team and leadership
development. In partnership with the People and Culture Centers of
Excellence, they work closely with Site Directors, General
Managers, and other people leaders to accomplish business
objectives through the application of thoughtful, intentional, and
innovative people support.The Senior Manager, Business Partnering
is the lead on-site Human Resources partner of a 24/7 fulfillment
center. They are the primary HR business partner to the Director of
DC Operations of a large facility or multi-site DC Campus inclusive
of Senior Operations Managers and General Managers where market
relevant. This role leads a team of salaried HR professionals
ranging from Coordinators to Senior Advisors who collectively
provide support and guidance to a fluctuating workforce of up to
3,000 workers in peak season. The Senior Manager, Business
Partnering reports into the Director, Business Partnering for the
Global Fulfillment portfolio. A DAY IN THE LIFE - Business
Partnering
- Design and ensures the implementation and success of a holistic
global people and culture strategy that supports rapid growth and
delivers on key people KPI's including retention, engagement and
compliance.
- Lead, coach, develop and guide a team of salaried HR
professionals
- Navigate the complexity of identifying staffing and recruiting
needs in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Labor Planning and
Operations, executing best practicing and optimizing
productivity.
- Demonstrates leadership on all aspects of organizational
effectiveness, including on-boarding, performance management,
coaching, talent assessment, succession planning and employee
engagement.
- Ensures the local People and Culture team is providing
effective and timely support and counsel to employee inquiries on
various P&C related topics including assisting to interpret
defined People and Culture policies and procedures.
- Coach, develop and empower our senior leadership to contribute
excellence to the business with a drive for simplified and
standardized service and program excellence.
- Providing elevated expert consultation regarding employee
relations matters including the resolution of conflict,
under-performance, misconduct, complaints and investigations.
- Lead and partner on initiatives and projects that impact the
employee experience within the Global Fulfillment network.
- Support in identifying opportunities for key North America
distribution center programs which include peak season readiness
and employee engagement.
- Support through coaching on performance management and
improvement to assist in the creation/follow-up of action plans
around improving employee's performance.
- Provide coaching and advice on career development, recruitment
practices, succession planning, compensation and performance
management, diversity & inclusion, and other human resource
practices.
- Provide advice in relation to involuntary separation requests
from managers to ensure compliance with company culture and
practices. Determine legal exposure by verifying applicable
legislation and make a recommendation to leadership on how to
proceed.
- Lead and ensure compliance to employment laws all termination
notices and related documentation around termination of
employment.
- In partnership with benefits team, support managers with
accommodation request cases and follow up with internal and
external partners on progression of each file including return to
work planning.
- Conduct exit interviews to identify issues in the
team/department and provide recommendation on action plans for
improvement.
- Leverage data, analytics, benchmarking, and industry knowledge
to inform and enhance business recommendations. Apply strong
analytical skills and attention to detail to understand complex
problems and root causes, leveraging quantitative and qualitative
data to develop insights, guide decisions, and formulate
solutions.
- Creates and implements innovative solutions and action plans
for employee engagement and organizational health.
- Support operational workforce planning and support hiring
managers to determine resourcing needs and develop necessary
information to support job leveling and compensation to prepare for
hiring.
- Support with delivery of annual people programs including
Talking Talent, bi-annual compensation review, promotion exercises
and bonus programs.
- In partnership with People and Culture COE Teams ensures People
and Culture related matters are proactively researched and managed
and in compliance with all corporate policies & procedures, all
federal & provincial laws.
- Functions as a thought partner, coach and mentor to ensure the
seamless integration of strategies and solutions, in collaboration
with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Shared Services while staying
close to compliance of local states/province/country laws.
- As required in partnership with P&C Employee Relations
Team, lead and conduct investigations regarding violations of our
company's standards of conduct.
- Responsible for all aspects of the employee life cycle for
direct reports including hiring, onboarding, training, performance
management, rewards and recognition, offboarding, etc.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of people's experience for a DC
facility or campus
- In partnership with People and Culture Centers of Excellence,
facilitate training to the business for People and Culture programs
(e.g. annual performance management review, Compensation /Bonus/
Equity) as required.
- I nteracts with a wide variety of stakeholders across many
functions up to the SVP level. QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 8+ years progressive generalist, Business Partner,
or similar relatable experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading or partnering to drive strategic
people initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience leading a team, including coaching,
development, performance management, and engagement.
- Deep understanding of the labor laws relevant to the market and
ability to apply to a variety of situations.
- Broad human resource knowledge and ability to facilitate the
delivery of People and Culture advisory services to the
business.
- Passion for the employee experience and is energized to
regularly walk the warehouse floor and foster connection and an
open-door culture with all employees.
- Conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict
management skills.
- Proven ability to design and implement creative processes and
solutions, including change management, talent development and
related areas.
- Experience coaching and developing team capabilities.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to
multitask.
- Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and
collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.
- Decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee
relations, people management and training.
- Personal responsibility to see issues through to resolution and
meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work from the Distribution Center. Will have the
ability to work remote from time to time.
- Ability to travel between US and Canada as applicable.
- Will have a team of HR professionals onsite to support,
however, business needs may require time spent supporting night and
weekend shift team if issues requiring HR support arise.
- Experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt employees as
well as interacting with a temporary agency workforce in an HR
capacity a plus.
- Experience working in any aspect of supply chain a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the
business both written and verbally.
- Must be able to operate with autonomy and discretion with a
true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully
monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of
employee engagement.
- Multi-lingual a plus. MUST HAVES

PACKAGE lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a
pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional
individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this
position is from $134,100-$176,000 annually; the base pay offered
is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our

eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to
