specifics.Responsibilities Manage activities and work flow for
assigned health plan clinical programs focused on improving the
health status and care for individuals with chronic conditions,
potentially complex medical, mental health and psychosocial issues.
- Manage all project and/or program management work including
monitoring and tracking of progress and status update
communications.
- Manage development and implementation of new ideas that support
project work streams and clinical teams.
- Develop, implement and evaluate program services and
initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to promote
health plan initiatives.
- Collaborate with others to assist with problem identification
and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new
services, and systems/performance measures.
- Assist with the development and monitoring of insurance
policies, practices and procedures.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation
of staff.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or
job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American
Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing
obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
required.Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of
experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience
required.Additional Preferences Oncology managers need to possess a
unique blend of clinical, managerial, and leadership
skillsbachelor's or master's degree in nursing3-5 - years of
experience in oncology care, preferably in a leadership or
supervisory role.Strong knowledge of Oncology Services required
(both Medical and Radiation)Biotherapy Chemotherapy Provider Card
within 6 months of hireRadiation Certification course within 12
months of hireHave working knowledge of NCCN Guidelines ( the
recognized standard for clinical direction and policy in cancer
care)Aware of current trends, best practices, and evidence-based
guidelines in oncology care.Must be able to plan, organize, and
