  • Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility OhioHealth Grant, 111 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215 to be eligible to apply.
  • NEED: RN MS/Tele Stroke Unit
  • LOCATION: Riverside Methodist Hospital
  • SHIFT: Night Shift, 3x12's, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, EOW, EOH
  • 1,059 bed magnet hospital and level II trauma center.
  • Epic EMR, navy scrubs.
  • Unit Description: First to float, every other weekend, no call, holidays based on need, 1:5-6 nurse patient ratio. Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 32 private beds, acuity ranges from moderate to high (frequent neuro checks), navy blue scrubs. Patient population includes acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, encephalopathy, brain mass, hemicraniectomy, other neurological/neurosurgical diagnoses. No ventilated patients. Heparin, argatroban, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, ketamine drips are common.

    • 1.5 years of SD or CC experience
    • Large hospital exp
    • BLS
    • Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently, strong neuro assessment skills
