• Certification Details
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
  • Job Details
  • Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.
  • High acuity of PCU and ICU. Candidates with PCU/ICU experience preferred. May float to Med/Surg.
  • Patient Diagnoses: Solid Tumor, Orthopedic Oncology, Thoracic Oncology
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Medical Oncology with progressive care beds, Pediatric patients, NIH protocols.
  • Special Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of oncology experience preferred.
    • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
    • Ratio: 1:4.
    • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
    • Previous travel experience preferred.
    • Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Accessing ports, Arterial line management, Blood product administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, IV start, Assist with chest tube insertion/removal, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).
      • Schedule Information
      • No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule.
      • Facility determines the complete schedule, with the possibility of working every weekend. Must be flexible.
      • Maximum 7 straight days off.
      • 14-week contract required if taking 7 days off.

        • Unit Information: Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.
        • High acuity of PCU and ICU.
        • May float to Med/Surg.
