Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PCU Float Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years required License: Must have a valid compact or state nursing license Certifications: BCLS/ACLS required Must-Have: - Skills in IV start and telemetry - Experience using EPIC Job Description: - Work in the PCU Float Pool during night shifts. - Possibility to float to any stepdown/PCU area or other campuses, including specialized areas such as heart, brain, and spine, as well as rehabilitation facilities. - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. - Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4. - Complete a 24-hour orientation. - Candidates must be aware of the urgency related to fingerprinting and compliance processes. - Flu vaccine is required; medical exemptions only. - Required documentation and credentialing to be completed promptly to avoid delays. - Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at the same rate. - Candidates must have their vacation or time-off requests built into the contract submission. - Employment eligibility extends to former staff who have not worked in the facility for at least six months. - Orientation comprises 24 hours of non-billable time.
