  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
  • First Time Travelers Accepted
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:1/2 or 3
  • Minimum Experience Required: 3 Years
  • Unit Information: Riley Hospital NICU is #15 in the Nation per USNWR.
  • Riley Maternity Tower NICU is state of the art, new NICU that opened in November, 2021. They are a delivery center and care for babies that need medical care, prematurity, and mixed acuity.
  • Simon Family Tower NICU is a state of the art, level 4 NICU which cares for mixed acuity babies requiring surgical and medical care as well as advanced therapies such as ECMO.
  • Both units have multiple ancillary support services and a milk bank

    • Certification Requirements: BCLS, NRP
    • Skillset Requirements: Vents, NICU IV
    • Floating Requirements: Riley Hospital for Children and IU Health North Hospital, may float outside of NICU to units within scope of practice

          • Additional Details
          • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
          • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
