specifics.Responsibilities Coordinate nursing activities and
resources within clinical specialty or department.
- Coordinate staff scheduling and educational/development
activities.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient
care. Perform quality assurance studies and assist with
implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement
initiatives.
- Serve as resource to staff and external contacts on issues
related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards,
policies and procedures.
- Monitor departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance
requirements.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or
job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American
Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
date required. Nursing compact license required within 60 days of
hire or transfer.Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of
cumulative job specific experience required.Additional Preferences
-Minimum 5 year actively practicing as a registered nurse,
including at least 3 years in oncology1 year in a leadership
position or charge nurse position, preferably in an oncology
ambulatory settingExperience in delegation of nursing
responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnelStrong
knowledge of Oncology Services required (both Medical and
Radiation)Biotherapy Chemotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of
