The occupational therapy assistant works directly under the supervision of a board-certified Occupational Therapist and as part of an interdisciplinary team to foster people's skill development to achieve their goals.This occupational therapy assistant position is a full-time, facility-based position that we are looking to fill immediately with flexible hours. Hourly pay minimum is $25/hour and remains competitive based on experience. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will report directly to the Director of Occupational Therapy.Benefits: OPG provides all clinic materials and intervention activities for the Occupational Therapy Assistant with yearly budgets to improve/maintain all materials. Benefits include:Medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurancePaid Time Awaycontinuing education budgetmileage reimbursementemployee assistance planEmployee Stock Ownership PlanPM22Requirements:Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program, current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), licensure as an occupational therapy assistant in the state of Indiana, be able to legally work in the United States, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., be able to walk, bend, squat, turn in the knees, back, wrist and shoulders and grasp with both hands, be able to competently administer CPR/First Aid once trained during orientation, and demonstrate proof of a negative TB screening.
