Department:Pediatric Cardiac ICU -Schedule: Multiple Shifts -Hospital: Peyton Manning Children's Hospital -Location: Indianapolis, Indiana -We are excited to share our collaboration between -Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent -and -Cincinnati Children's Hospital - that will enhance Pediatric Cardiology services throughout our statewide ministry. This alignment brings world-class congenital heart surgery and cardiac care closer to the homes of the patients and families we serve.Ranked as the No. 1 pediatric health system in the nation by -U.S. News & World Report, Cincinnati Children's is working with our ministry to provide exceptional care for children with heart disorders. This encompasses the following:
  • Consultative support, including reviewing test results and/or providing second opinions -
  • Shared decision-making through joint case conferences of surgeons, cardiologists and other specialists to determine the optimal site of care -

Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
    • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
    • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
    • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
    • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
      • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
      • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:
