• Qualifications include certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure, Chemotherapy, Trauma Nursing Core Course, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Tech Cert Verification - National, NIH Stroke Certification, Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, Color Blind Testing Online, Competency Exam, Fit Mask, and State License Verification

  • Department Details: 5C is a 31 bed med-surg unit with a concentration in general surgery, urology, gynecology and bariatric surgery. Must have 3-4's in Bariatric Surgery, Thyroidectomy, Bowel Obstruction, and CBI
  • Patient Ratio: 1:6
  • Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.

      • Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
      • Online Verification of License to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date). Must be through primary source. IN.gov.
      • Proof of valid auto insurance required for all travelers under Hospice specialty. Must be current at start, but expiration does not need to be tracked and the doc on file does not need to be renewed.
