Job Description:

• Practice type : Clinic/Hospital
• Trauma Level : Level I Trauma Designation
• Beds/OR s : 250 beds
• Shift hours : 8:00am 4:30pm
• Schedule: Full Time, ideally M-F 8:00am 4:30pm, flexible
• Call Coverage: No Call N/A except infusion during the shift
• Specific Dates Open : Start date 12/2/24 - 3 -6 months with option to extend
• Department Description This is a medical oncology and hematology practice with three current physicians (one additional vacant position) and one APP. The practice is located on the hospital campus adjacent to infusion and radiation oncology and connected to the main hospital.
• Patient population: adults of all ages
• Typical Cases : Patients diagnosed with a wide range of hematology conditions and cancers.
• EMR : Epic, including mobile application. Will also utilize Teams and other office products.
• Credentialing: 90 to 120 days. emergency privs available (30 days)
• Licensing : Active OH license
• Required Certifications/Cred Items : CNP or PA Oncology Nurse Certification would be useful but not required.
• Health Requirements: Covid vaccine not required
• Experience: Experience working as a nurse or APP with cancer patients. Experience rounding on inpatients is preferred
