Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PCU Float Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years required License: Must have a valid compact or state license Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: IV start, Telemetry experience required, EPIC experience required Job Description: - Join the PCU Float Pool with potential assignments to any stepdown or PCU area. - May be required to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. - Estimated patient ratios range from 1:3-4. - Potential to float to other campuses, including specialized heart, brain & spine, and other areas. - Complete a mandatory 24-hour orientation before beginning assignments. - Candidates located outside the state but within driving distance will need to travel for fingerprinting promptly after booking. - Flu vaccine is required, with medical exemptions only. - Compliance with fingerprinting process is mandatory; delays may affect start date. - Must not plan vacation time immediately after booking to avoid credentialing delays. - Former employees are eligible for travel assignments if they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. - Current employees are ineligible for traveler assignments at this location.
