  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg - Inpatient 48's Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48 hours per week, will accept 36's Length: 13 weeks Requirements:
  • OH License
  • 1.5 Years' Experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret strips
  • BCLS
  • Experience in a level 1 or 2 preferred
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Epic experience Other Details:
    • Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6
    • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment(local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility)48 or 36 hours**Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6****For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid out after 48 hours**Must have the following requirements:--- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment--- BLS - must be able to read and interpret strips--- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.1.5 years exp, exp in a level 1 or 2 preferred--- Travel experience preferredEPIC EXP REQUIREDUnit may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.Unit Details:43-bed/Med Surg unit with a concentration on post-general surgery patients. We do get medical overflow as well.
