Bakery Team Leader Job DescriptionThe Bakery Team Leader is responsible for the overall success of our bakery department in a fast-paced retail environment. As a key member of our management team, you will provide exceptional leadership to our bakery team, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible shopping experience. You will be accountable for all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise in product knowledge, inventory management, and team leadership will be essential in driving sales growth and maintaining high customer satisfaction. As a collaborative and innovative leader, you will develop and implement effective strategies to achieve our business objectives and promote a positive work environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Development: Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing team, providing regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their success and growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring that all processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive and personalized shopping experience.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, increase customer loyalty, and improve market share.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of products, to ensure that the bakery department is fully stocked and optimized for sales.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all bakery operations are in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Requirements:
    • 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
    • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
    • Strong product knowledge and inventory management expertise.
    • Ability to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
