• The Cisco Consulting Sales Engineer is a pre-sales engineer responsible for assisting Account Managers design and sell Cisco Unified Communications, Contact Center, Video, Data Center (UCS), and third-party solutions.
• The role will include planning, design, pricing, and most importantly selling.
• Engineer assumes a leadership role for the team and works with our account teams to showcase Cisco solutions and associated third party products, professional and managed services.
• The successful Engineer must keep up to date on relevant Cisco and competitive solutions, products, and services
• Consult with our customer business users to obtain requirements, specifications and agree on timeframe for completion of assigned request
• Interface with various vendors – Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, Nuance, NICE, Calabrio and other
• Write detailed requirements, system design, proposals and statements of work.
• Review specifications with business user to ensure compliance with requirements

 
Technical Skills
5+ years experience in designing Cisco Collaboration, Contact Center and or UC solutions
2+ years of experience developing proposals and statements of work.
Very strong teaming skills with account managers and other sales engineers
Strong Sales Engineering skills
Excellent presentation skills
Exceptional customer facing skill
Cisco A2Q experience
Cisco Experience and related expertise and certifications
Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager
Cisco Unity/Unity Connection
Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise and Express (UCCE, UCCX)
Cisco Unified Meeting Place and Webex
