• The Cisco Consulting Sales Engineer is a pre-sales engineer responsible for assisting Account Managers design and sell Cisco Unified Communications, Contact Center, Video, Data Center (UCS), and third-party solutions.  
• The role will include planning, design, pricing, and most importantly selling.
• Engineer assumes a leadership role for the team and works with our account teams to showcase Cisco solutions and associated third party products, professional and managed services.
• The successful Engineer must keep up to date on relevant Cisco and competitive solutions, products, and services.
• Consult with our customer business users to obtain requirements, specifications and agree on timeframe for completion of assigned requests
• Interface with various vendors – Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, Nuance, NICE, Calabrio and others
• Write detailed requirements, system design, proposals and statements of work.
• Review specifications with business user to ensure compliance with requirements

 
Technical Skills
 

• 
  

• 5+ years experience in designing Cisco Collaboration, Contact Center and or UC solutions
• 2+ years of experience developing proposals and statements of work.
• Very strong teaming skills with account managers and other sales engineers
• Strong Sales Engineering skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Exceptional customer facing skill
• Cisco A2Q experience
• Cisco Experience and related expertise and certifications
• Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager
• Cisco Unity/Unity Connection
• Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise and Express (UCCE, UCCX)
• Cisco Unified Meeting Place and Webex
• Cisco Unified Presence
• Cisco Emergency Responder
• Cisco Unified Mobility
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express
• DMS
• H323 / SIP / SCCP
• Voice Gateways / Routers / Switches

 
Education
 
• BA or BS Degree, preferably a technical degree
