Role Description:

• Data Cleansing and Data Quality activities. o Data migration mapping sessions with business and functional teams.
• Creation of users in the management and central management consoles.
• Data stores creation on sources and targets of ArcGIS, WMS and databases.
• Performance tuning using caches and parallel execution using bulk loading and dataflow execution.
• Loading delta records on both source and target level CDC on type1, type 2, and type 3 SCD.
• Integrating Business Objects Data Services with SAP and Non SAP Data Sources.
• Developing complex data models using SAP Native HANA studio modeling tools.
• Integration of Business Objects Data Services with SAP and Non SAP Data Sources.
• Point of contact to the offshore team to resolve the issues and for any concern in requirement gathering.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, SAP Offshore Consultants, and partner consultants to develop consulting and project methodology, techniques, tools, and solutions. Essential Skills:
  • SAP Business Objects offers better profiling because of too many acquisitions of other companies.
  • The learning curve of this ETL tool is quick, and it is easy to use.
  • Offers an easy to UI interface to perform data manipulation tasks.
  • The objects and functions of BODS in SAP allow you to perform manipulations and transformation of data very efficiently.
  • There are system-provided objects and functions which you can easily drag and dropped.
  • SAP BODS allows you to implement various data transformations using Data Integrator language
  • SAP BODS helps you to perform complex data transformations for building customized functions.
  • Data Integrator Designer allows you to store real time and batch jobs and new projects in the repository. Desirable Skills:
    • Experience in Data Warehousing that includes analysis and development of Dataflows, mappings using needed transformations using BODS.
    • Experience in Development of SAP HANA Models
    • Develop Jobs, Workflows and Data flows based on the specifications using various stages in BODS.
    • Experience in BODS Designer Components- Projects, Jobs, Workflow, Data Flow, Scripts, Data Stores and Formats.
    • Knowledge on Data Quality Transformation.
    • Implementation of SCD type2 dimensions to maintain the History of dimensional data.
    • Must have knowledge on ETL, Data Management and Data warehousing.
    • Create and monitor testing to verify data quality and consistency in business processes and reporting.
    • Audit data in accordance with the Master Data Governance program that defines and monitors the process of creating, modifying, storing and deleting data.
    • Exposure in BODS performance tuning techniques using parallel processing (Degree of Parallelism), Multithreading, Partitioning, and Database Throughputs to improve job performance
    • Experience in Data Services Management Console for Monitoring, Execution and Scheduling BODS jobs.
    • Hands on exp in debugging execution errors using Data Services logs (trace, statics and Error)
    • Should have involved in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) process and Data Warehouse.
    • Should have work experience in different types of transformations like Query transformation, Merge, Case, Validations
