Job Description:
A company is looking for a Project or Senior Fire Planner to
support and lead fire management planning projects.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a technical specialist in forestry and wildfire
sciences
Manage complex projects, including CEQA and NEPA compliance,
vegetation management plans, and wildfire mitigation plans
Supervise and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality assurance
of deliverables
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in forestry, fire science, environmental science,
or related field preferred
Minimum of five years of experience in forestry, wildfire
operations, or environmental consulting
Knowledge of federal and state laws related to forestry and
wildfire management
Experience with federal and state agencies, such as BLM and
USFS
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced
environment
