Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Department Leader to assist the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations for our Meat and Seafood department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of retail execution.Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Development: Partner with the Team Leader to select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to achieve a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Customer Service: Model and deliver outstanding customer service, responding to customer questions, requests, and resolving concerns as needed.
• Operational Excellence: Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales, margin, expense, and labor targets, ensuring proper scheduling and maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated store environment.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate advanced product knowledge, maintain awareness of new products, and regularly incorporate new products into the overall product mix.Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 1+ year of leadership experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Customer Service Focus: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer questions and resolve concerns.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on operational excellence and attention to detail.
  • Team Orientation: Strong team orientation, with the ability to work collaboratively with Team Members and the Team Leader to achieve departmental goals.
