Job Description:

Perform meat cutting, preparation, and sales. Ensure positive company image by providing courteous service to customers and Team Members. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Cut, platter, and merchandise meat products.
  
• Prepare specialty meat merchandise.
  
• Check product quality.
  
• Maintain sampling program.
  
• Monitor and prevent spoilage.
  
• Mentor Meat Cutter Trainee.
  
• Arrive on time and work scheduled shifts.
  
• Provide excellent customer service.
  
• Maximize sales through effective procedures.
  
• Follow established procedures.
  
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment.
  
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
  
• Report safety hazards.
  
  
  **Job Skills:**

  • Working understanding of Meat team processes.
    
  • Excellent cutting skills.
    
  • Extensive knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques.
    
  • Ability to visually examine products for quality.

    **Experience:**
    
    • 
      
    • 14+ months retail experience.
      
      
      **Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:**
      
      • 
        
      • Lift 50 pounds.
        
      • Stand/walk 6-8 hours.
        
      • Use hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
        
      • Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
        
      • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
        
      • Work in a wet and cold environment.
        
      • Handle knives and cutting equipment.
        
      • Work flexible schedule.
        
      • Use tools and equipment.
