Deposit Review Specialist

Job Description:

This is a part-time position. Hours are Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

General Function:

Provides expert support for all functions of Transaction Manager deposit review processing system. Support varies from reviewing transactions for negotiablity and fraud prevention before point of deposit, adjustment input, customer holds and Reg CCreview and general system troubleshooting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

-Follows procedures outlined for the review of transactions to reduce fraud through Mobile and ATM deposit capture.

-Decisions all deposits/checks within the deposit review queue for no action, hold or return determination.

-Reviews checks for negotiability utilizing deposit review guidelines established by Retail/Fraud.

-Ensures proper notification is provided to customer for all account holds per Reg CC guidelines.

-Makes decisions on returns based on negotiability of insturment.

-Inputs advice of corrections within Ipcs.

-Holds placed based on Reg CC guideline and customer account history.

-Reviews account history within ACE to determine action on deposit.

-Validates all money order presentment within deposit revew as set by guidelines.

-Reports all advice notices that were created during deposit review.

-Maintains transaction manager deposit review password.

-Meets and maintains production and quality standards as set by work type and process.

-Escalates any issues to management that cannot be resolved.

-Other duties as assigned.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

-Researches and resolves all out-of-balance transactions that could not be resolved by normal balancing methods.

-Inserts advice of corrections are needed.

-Performs Ten-Key input for Micr Line Completion.

-Maintains consistent Keying Speed with Accuracy.
