Job Description:

How You Will Make an ImpactService Technicians work under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to complete service repairs/ maintenance and warranty issues for specialty truck equipment such as dump bodies, crane bodies, bumper cranes, trailers etc. The Nuts and BoltsComplete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication on returned customer equipment at shop as neededDiagnose and troubleshoot problemsDevelop standardized repair procedures to be applied to duplicate warranty issuesRequired Credentials
Prior experience with mechanical and hydraulic repairExcellent customer service skillsWelding and 12-volt electrical experience preferredMust have his/her own toolsPHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:Automotive repair shop atmosphereAbility to work in uncontrolled weather conditions (Heat/Cold) Ability to stand for 8-10 hoursFrequent bending, standing, crouching, walking, use of hands & arms Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE)How We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
